VMARK VIETNAM DESIGN AWARD 2022 KICK OFF & PRESS CONFERENCE

On December 17th, 2021, the Vietnam Design Association HCMC (VDAS) proudly present a press conference to launch the VMARK Vietnam Design Awards 2022 | Interior Design, open a series of events towards VIETNAM DESIGN WEEK 2022.



Besides kicking-off the VMARK Vietnam Design Awards 2022, this event will feature discussions on Interior Design and Architecture Trends shaped by the pandemic with design experts and former VMARK Winners, and present an opportunity for participants to meet the Award’s Jury Board Members, who are the Presidents of prestigious and world-class International Design Associations, along with experts and designers who have won awards at the VMARK Design Award 2021.


The annual VMARK Design Awards have made a huge impact in the Vietnamese design community and have been linked to prestigious international awards. VMARK Design Awards is a place to showcase the top notch skills & aspirations of designers working together to build a sustainable creative economy for Vietnam. The VMARK Award honors, promotes global cultural diversity, varied styles of designers, and aims for core values of the Vietnamese creative industry, representing the spirit and desire of Vietnamese designers to affirm capacity and reach an international level.


Through this press conference, VDAS will officially launch the VMARK Vietnam Design Awards 2022 and expand the category of Concept Design to global applicants.


The theme for VMARK 2022 is "Design For Life | Build Sustainable Life by Design" - Designing a sustainable future life means urging the community to actively participate in improving life after the pandemic. We are living in a challenging time, and more creative and sustainable approaches are needed to solve this age's pressing problems than ever before. There is no doubt that design solutions are playing an important role in rebuilding a better world for us and our future generations.


The organizer of the award is VDAS Design Association HCMC| Vietnam, an organization with the mission of discovering and honoring the value of creative designs by domestic and international talented interior designers, architecture and decorative product designers, and aims to further enrich and enhance the design community. Join us in creating a bright future, where design innovation is the backbone of society and life.


Along with this year's award is GROHE, a global leading brand for bathroom and kitchen fitting solutions, with more than 500 global design and creativity awards. The brand is loved for its smart, sustainable product solutions that improve quality of life and provide unique user experiences. Leading the design and manufacturing of products that contribute to sustainable development, GROHE is the first brand in the industry to pioneer the application of the Cradle to Cradle (C2C) concept to design and manufacture. C2C is a process in which products designed and manufactured are intended to utilize their components at the end of the use phase to create new products.


In 2021 - 2022, at the VMARK Design Awards, GROHE will participate by sharing and discussing trends in design, production, and contribution to global sustainable development.


The VMARK Awards 2022 press conference is also the opening of a series of webinar programs and monthly in-depth discussions and topics on prominent design trends, latest up to date, opening new development directions for current and future architecture and interior design, in order to attract many Designers and Architects to participate in the award, and to be honored at the VIETNAM DESIGN WEEK 2022 - an international event scheduled for May 2022.
